I am just thinking it'd be easier to code charm modifiers to apply when you shoot and not on the ammo itself. it's very easy that one of two things can happen: if you're doing multiplication, because you might be rounding the effects of a charm, this rounding can mean equipping and removing it many many times would cause a slight increase or decrease in your gun's stats. Regardless of the math done there's a trap you can fall into where you can make it so equipping a charm and removing it actually equips it twice.
I still think this is the right approach if charms only affect single weapons

There's two problems. Firstly is you don't wanna make most fields (IE variables) static because if you do then you are able to easily change them in other classes and that can lead to confusing and hard to understand code. Secondly is if you want multiple instances of something (mods only have one instance but some things like monobehaviors attached to enemies could have multiple instances) static vars are usually a very very bad idea.

Doesnโt it make sense that in mathematics, we use the integral symbol instead of A.Integral(B)? IMHO, J and other languages in this family such as K, Q, and APL invent such a notation for computation.
