- install Bindings (which installed ModCommon + QoL)
- try to disable Bindings (doesn't work probably because it installs ModCommon + QoL but not something called "Bindings")
- restarted Mod Manager v8.0.2.
- Bindings now showed as uninstalled (install was available again)
- QoL and ModCommon display as installed
- uninstalled QoL and ModCommon
- clicked install on Bindings
- **crash**

There aren't nearly enough mods for that to be a hassle
and if it's already reading the file it won't take any more resources
considering it downloads that file every time you start it
and considering that file is a PITA to edit
So right now my savestate mod has position, health, geo, shade position, whether you were dead, and soul. How bad of an idea would it be to just do all of playerdata instead of select things
to edit the file you have to either use a sketchy third party google drive program which often break because google drive changes their api a lot or download it edit it and reupload it.
also all the text descriptions would probably add about a megabyte to it which is a lot to ask for something you have to download every time you open a program

Do you want to enable the readme buttons for all once ever downloaded readme's (that is, if the mod is deleted, the readme stays currently) or do you want to enable only the readme buttons of installed mods?

serious talk: I consider something to be art if it has a deeper significance beyond what exists (IE the code or assets). OFC that's subjective because plenty of things have meanings to me that have no meanings to others so it's totally valid for someone to not think any of my mods are art. But nearly all of them have that significance to me.

They fund mono development. They own .net. Given these 2 facts there is ABSOLUTELY no reason that mono should be any less capible than .net but it is because fuck you and the end result is programs like modinstaller that are just slightly broken on non windows.

There's something a million times worse about something working on another platform but being shitty than something not working at all, for both developers and end users. Developers think its a nightmare to port games and blame the other operating systems. End users see worse programs and think it is their operating system being less capible.
