2. The number of i-frames is the same but the thorns just uses some of them to damage the area around the knight, which attacks anything in the range twice.

2. the ACTIVE iframes are less, like i said, you cannot follow the boss, dodge, reposition, attack (for more dmg lol) and the attack rarely even hits

3. sure, but its 1 notch to literally inhibit you and even if it didnt reduce said iframes its still a cost for no effect (negligible effect) when sbody (4th best charm assuming qslash), nmg, grubsong, dwielder etc etc exists. even crest without weak combinations like flukenest has only pros and as such is better lol
