On PC it is impossible to open settings or deselect the tile or unit with Esc key if you can finish the game. Though you can still do everything by clicking buttons.
This can be annoying at Perfection and Weekly challenges.

Wow, this bug has been in the game since 2019 and no one else has pointed it out. Good find! Will be fixed in a future update.

the pc version hasnt existed since 2019...

ig you can play on a "tablet" with attached keyboard, so there might have been something set up for that
