I was going to play a multiplayer game with my friend, and then realized I didnt see them on my friend list. I had to search up their username there and I saw a “Unfriend” button instead of “Add friend” so neither of us had accidentally unfriended. We tried to unfriend and add back but that just doesnt work.

yeah it happens after playing a game with one of your friends, they're back if you close and reopen the game

Thats just not the case with me. I played at least 15 games with them before the bug started and we have tried everything.
