I'm not sure how active all the individual tribe channels are, but in the case of Polaris, it's dead cold as ice.

I wanted to introduce conversation of doing tribe activities. It's just to liven up that region of the server a bit.

For example, something I thought of (but does not have to be limited to) is using a website called Aggie.io || it's a site where you share a canvas with anyone else that has the link.

A tribe activity could be for every tribe channel to have their own tribe link, and they could draw/write what they would offer as peace or any other type of message to a specific tribe, and see what tribes get what, if anything at all.

I just think doing activities that involves the members of a tribe working together or against the other tribes would be an interesting dynamic.

Quetzali and Ai-mo are as always decently active, but I agree that reviving tribes interactions would be cool

This has been a problem for some time now -- new people see an active tribe and join that. Not everyone falls into that, but it is a common catalyst for certain tribes being completely dead.

Time and time again there have been pushes for tribe-based activities -- most notably tournaments that focus on this -- but most of the time the active tribes due to sheer numbers or tribes that currently have an in-game advantage end up winning.

I don't want to completely douse your idea -- I think that on paper it seems great -- but from my understanding of how things are, I doubt you would find too many people to consistently participate outside of a small, pre-existing group.

@flint dawn we did several tribe rivalry events last year - Pacific, Total Forgery, Riot Act.

I really enjoy hosting those kinds of events. Here's post in #announcements as an example of how Total Forgery worked #announcements message

However, Zoythrus said we cannot do these kinds of in-game contests anymore. All in-game contests have to be through ChallengerMode

There used to be a more formal process in the server to nominate and chose tribe leaders. They had sepcial roles and perms in the server

We stopped doing it for various reasons, mostly because the tribe chats are not very active

Zoythrus said it was something about a contract that Midjiwan has with ChallengerMode. All official in-game tournaments need to be through CM

We can host "non-official" events, but that means no prize from Midjiwan and probably not on this server

Perhaps the policy will change in the future. Until then, if you want to run a Polytopia in-game tourney, use another discord server or platform

Perfection Gamemode: Palace Trends | Develop your kingdom, and by T(X; you can pick 30 or earlier) have the most beautiful and organized Kingdom.

Submission method: Screenshot of your final product, and a link to the game to confirm it.

Map Type | Requirement is for it to be Small (196 tiles) or Huge (400 tiles).

Something I'd say that probably takes away from a kingdom Is if the monument (or regular building) can't be appreciated because it's smaller than the structure in front of it

But that's something basic that doesn't have much to do with the actual appeal of the structure arrangement
