PC version. Aquarion unplayable in multiplayer

Hi, i have been very invested in polytopia and i recently bought the other characters to play on the PC steam version of the game. But when i go into a multiplayer game with friends, Aquarion is blacked out and unable to be chosen. This happens when i create a game too, doesnt matter the map or the map size. Aquarion is unplayable. Did it get disabled or something?

you probably disabled it yourself, or the game host disabled it
