Like many of you, I have struggled and tried some crazy things to get my dupes to avoid eating berry sludge and sleep in their “home turf” bed or eat at the planet great hall when they’re grounded.
I’ve looked at this a couple of times and each time it’s more subtle or complicated than I expected. For instance, off world where food is not as plentiful as my home world, berry sludge might be fine to eat outside the capsule. Also, I definitely want them to eat the berry sludge if the better foods aren’t available.
As far as I can tell, there’s no notion of “preferred” food.
Are there any simplifying assumptions here I might be missing?
