Got an idea for a mod written down in a markdown file. Could very likely develop most of it myself, as i am a C# developer.

I do however have a bad track record for keeping my mods up to date, as evident from a mod i created for Crusader Kings 3, that got a decent following.

I was therefore hoping for either somebody else to develop it, me developing it with somebody else maintaining it, or a mix of the two.

Can it just copy the markdown text into this thread?

Traits Reviewed

Contains two part. Duplicant Traits information Tab, and a new high-tech machine to manipulation the traits that a duplicant has.

Traits Tab

The tab would look and function similar to 'Consumable', the difference being the content. As the reference it would show the duplicants on the left. On the top however there would be a couble of sub-tabs to choose from.

  • Neutral Vacillitator
  • Apptitudes
  • Stress Reactions
  • Joy Reactions
  • Negative
  • Positive
  • Skill Levels (Science)

Each of the subtabs would contain crosses (x) beside the duplicants that has the matching traits, or numbers where it makes sense. These tabs would allow the player to get quick overview of what traits their colony has.

Many of the above listed subtabs are things that i for instance try to keep track of in Excel.

Traits Manipulation

Playing with Customize Buildings, the Skill Scrubber is expanded with the capability to edit duplicants traits at the cost of some power. I would love to see this implemented as a new machine, with proper demands in the form of power, radbolt, research, material, etc.

An idea for the required material to build it, could be needing a brain from a Neutral Vacillitator, similar to how Rebuildable AETN has the Neutronium Cores from analyzing natural AETN.

As for powering it, i had it mind that different categories require different amount of radbolts to add/remove / increase/decrease. The modified Skill Scrubber also took or gave some experience from the duplicant to make adjustment. Perhabs this should too be a cost, for the new machine.
