Radiation will kill germs, so if you can't get the washroom room bonus you can remove the hand sanitizer to get 3 more tiles of usable space. If you move the gas element sensor and vent into the great hall, you might be able to keep the great hall and also add a washroom though. The piloting station or refrigerator could go into an expanded washroom. The mess table could go on the ground floor under a ladder segment. If you put the gas vent at ground level, it can help delete CO2 (though has some chance to overpressurize the system (though not nearly as risky as an oxylite bin at floor level)). Are you just depending on the o2 in pipes for oxygen or do you have some other solution in mind?

I didn't even realize the hand sanitizer was JUST to get the washroom bonus. Dang. And ya the O2 will be 100% from the Gas Canister Module that I forgot to mention. Solid tips, ty.

Most people don't realize that the germs are super ineffective in space so it's maybe not common to do that
Can you add in oxylite or algae?
that would save a lot of rocket height, and you could use a rocket battery + interior oxygen instead of gas cannister + interior battery
the obnoxious thing about batteries is the constant heat generation, over dozens of cycles it can add up

I could and it would be smart. But I do like the idea of the O2 module storing everything for now. Good suggestions.
