Shown here is the pre-start up configuration, so it's before the water has evaporated or dupe access has been shut down. You need to have the water/tile of the room be less than 150 * the height of the room. In this case with a height of 4 the upper limit is 600kg/tile, so I am very very close to that at about 593 kg/tile.

I stack liquids in the turbine area (brine, salt water, polluted water, water, and ethanol: pick 3 you have available and use in that order from bottom to top) and use that as double-duty for the metal cooling area. Set the liquid pipe thermo sensor to "green above 25" and the rail thermo sensor to "green above 130." The machinery in the steam room needs to be steel.

The manual generator can be removed after the room has been vacuumed.

Looks kinda like mine (great minds think alike)

Must aqua tuner needed ?

#

It cannot self cooled by 2 steam turbine ?

I am not certain, however part of the goal of the build is to get chilled metal out, so the aquatuner is necessary for that at the very least. And if you're chilling the metal, might as well chill the turbines too.

That's also something that might depend on the specific volcano you're taming, but his is supposed to be universal. So I throw this design on gold and aluminum volcanos just the same

i see

is this working for all volcano ?

marsh nymph

Yes, except of course niobium, and perhaps if you aggressively geotune high-heat volcanos

#

on most case if u geo tune volcano it needs thermium right ?

marsh nymph
#

no, if you aggressively geotuned something like an aluminum volcano you'd maybe need 3 turbines

#

the thermal mass of the system can absorb heat spikes, but you need to bleed down that heat between eruptions or it will accumulate and that's what will overheat machinery

If you are looking to tame the niobium volcano I'd look up luma's niobium tamer

yeah I've used that before, it's so good
