The temperature overlay is often useless. Anything below a certain amount of cold is just cold, above a certain amount of hot is just hot. If I want to see a sensitive range between, say, 22°C and 35°C, I should be able to make 22° the coldest of cold and 35° the hottest of hot and have it recolor the overlay.

There's already two mods that allow for some better temperature gradients and recalibrating for different ranges.
