These rules are not a comprehensive list and can be changed any time. Staff may moderate at their own discretion - use your common sense! Don't attempt to loophole or use semantics to get around these rules. Respect the intent behind them, not the literal text.

**General Rules**

1. Respect everyone including Ferg, Staff, and especially the FergFam community!
▫️ No useless role or user pings (don't ping @primal oak , <@&282292207367618560>, @everyone, or @here) - only ping <@&665982344322351135>, <@&525717251400400907>, <@&432602872274747403> in the event of an emergency
▫️ Don't be toxic (backhanded comments, malicious comments, purposely making other members uncomfortable, trying to start drama/arguments, and more)
▫️ No racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQ+, or otherwise offensive content. Zero tolerance for hate speech.
▫️ No bullying, targeting, or harassing
▫️ No verbal abuse, insults, or threats towards others
▫️ Insults/defaming of any kind towards members/staff directly or indirectly will result with punishments as far as a ban (the staff volunteers their time to help keep the server a clean and safe environment)

2. English is the only language allowed in the server, as it is widely spoken and allows staff to moderate the server efficiently. This rule applies to both text and voice chats.

3. Have an appropriate user profile
▫️ First 3 letters of the username must be Latin based so that the user can be easily mentioned.
▫️ No impersonations is allowed - do not imitate Ferg, staff, members, bots, etc.
▫️ Must align with Discord Guidelines.

4. Swearing is allowed, but don't go crazy and direct it at someone.

5. Don't spam, flood or copypasta anywhere in the server; you level up only once per minute, so there's no point at all.
▫️ Spam is sending multiple texts/words in a short time span, sending the same messages/emotes repeatedly, sending more than 4 emojis at once, etc.
▫️ Flooding is sending a long wall of text that takes up roughly three quarters or more of the entire screen for mobile users.
▫️ Copypasta is a block of text which is copied and pasted.

6. Zero tolerance for Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content (includes text, emojis/emotes, and vc) in any of the channels.
▫️ No sexually explicit messages
▫️ No pornography, nudity or lewd content
▫️ No hentai/ecchi media
▫️ No posts that glorify violence such as death, rape, murder, school shootings, bombings and other unsuitable topics.

7. Self-promotion and advertising is NOT allowed anywhere in the server or DMs.
▫️ No unsolicited links or advertising of discord servers in DMs
▫️ No promotion of boosting, modding, or hacking services (automatic ban)
▫️ No "free cp" or Nitro scams in exchange for personal information (automatic ban)
▫️ No buying, selling, transfering of accounts per Activision Terms of Use

8. Avoid any arguments/drama in chats.
▫️ Don't discuss politics, religion, or other controversial topics
▫️ Don't taunt, instigate, or cause fights between staff/members
▫️ Don't discuss the use of illegal drugs.

9. Use the channels as they are intended for, and please don't go off topic in any of the game-channels! (You can get access to these from id:customize)

10. If you feel unfairly judged by the staff feel free to fill this Dyno form overseen by Admins. Don't complain about it in chat.

**Voice Chat Rules (General Rules apply)**

1. Don't earrape - you'll be server muted immediately.
▫️ Yelling is considered earrape
▫️ Micspam is also a weak version of earrape
▫️ Very loud music or instruments is counted as earrape

**2. Don't be toxic or harass others **(refer to server rule #1 for more details)

3. Don't advertise your servers or anything else.

4. Don't record other users without their consent.
▫️ Per California law, you must have the consent of another person if you want to record them.

**Music Channel Rules**

1. Songs are strongly suggested to be in English and not excessively vulgar

2. Songs more than 05:00 in length are not allowed.

3. Respect other people's choices. No hate speech if you don't like a song.

4. If you leave the VC after queueing songs, they will be removed.

5. Trolling is strictly prohibited (queuing earrapes, etc.)

**Justice System**

▫️ Breaking or attempting to bypass the rules and guidelines above may result in a warning, mute, kick or ban.
▫️ For example, 4 logs in a short time span or 10 logs within the past year will result in a ban - severity of the offense will determine whether the ban is temporary or permanent.
▫️ After coming back from temp ban, member is on probation (no perms to do anything) until they've proven to be a changed member.

Note: these are just guidelines and the staff reserve the right to put you on temp or permanent ban straight away, if necessary.
