This is just for me to infodump abt my spidersona bc i really need to let this out somewhere😭

So her name is Maria (no last name yet) and her alias is Spidernight. She has a sister. Theyre latina and live in New York. When they were younger, the New York invasion happened and their parents died, so they bounced from foster house to foster house. One family, a rich family with a daughter named Alice, took them in to foster. They loved the family, however another couple wanted to adopt them. The couple had lost their own children in the invasion. Alice and the 2 ended up going to the same school, and becoming close friends. Alice and Maria became besties. At age 15, Maria got bit. At age 16, she hadnt started doing hero stuff yet because she wanted to test out and refine her powers n such. Age 17 is when she started hero-ing. Also, she got bit when she and a group of then friends went out to graffiti an abandoned lab,which ended up being the housing of the radioactive spider (which is a black widow). She got red pupil eyes sensitive to light and dark vision, super strength, super speed, stickiness, venom teeth, etc. After graduating school, she got into a uni for graphic design and worked on graffiti commissions. Her bestie got into coding and robotics. Her bestie one day designed nanobots and they decided to use them to make her suit. However, when she was 20, Kingpin, her biggest enemy, found out her civilian identity. He was angry at her, since she was slowly taking out his entire organization. To send her a message not to mess with him, he sent an assasin to kill her sister and niece. Angry, she confronted Kingpin and murdered him.

When she first entered the spider-society, she kept on hiding from gwen (our gwen) bc she looked too similar to her gwen, whos gwenpool and has a major (and very not hidden) crush on Maria

She loves art but shes also a genius, so shes good at sciences and tech related stuff. Her fave forms of art r graffiti then traditional
