Is there a way to develop addon with JS without getting flagged on lichess?

Hey, I recently developed a Lichess addon to "improve" the UI for time visualization (https://github.com/ziebamikolaj/lichess-clock-center). Maybe it doesn't look that great right now, but it is work-in-progress. However I got a restriction on my account, after appealing the decision the restriction was removed, and I was recommended to use this discord for further guidance, so is there like a set of rules to use to not get addon flagged as cheats? Also what do you think about it?
