Introduction
Hello, I'm Shubi. I'm in my early 30s, female and a fluent English speaker.
Current language level
Somewhere around N4, starting with N3 grammar soon. I know around 900 kanji and can read well for my level, but my speaking is faaar behind. I'm mostly self-taught.
Even though I do well with grammar exercises and vocabulary tests, I do have to work on my comprehension, output and active vocabulary.
Target language level
Short-term it's to be conversational and to reach fluency long-term.
Study method
DM, VC, playing games together, whatever feels the most comfortable is fine with me. I'm also interested in improving my Japanese handwriting, so we could even exchange handwritten notes (on discord).
Hobbies
I'm an animal lover and love to research care guides and animal facts.
Gaming is definitely a big one. I mainly play games on my computer, but I do own a Switch as well.
I also like anything artsy.
