It would be incredibly helpful to visually see the elements set on each preset, instead of a 1, 2, 3 or 4 dice face. Having to memorize what I set up has been exhausting.

I don't know if i agree or disagree with this. I can't imagine i'd have time to look at all of them in the midst of battle and i don't really want more stuff clogging up my screen.
on the flip side, not everyone is good at memorizing things. So maybe having it optional?

the thing id want instead is a soft lock-in on the formulas, similar to what AS has with element combo icons. you select the default formula using the 1-4 keys and it stays that way until you select another.
really dont need to open the formula menu each time for formula change :x

Yes! That! The default should only be if we click immediately after! It shouldn't lock us out of the use of the other options!
