there really isn't a need for it tbh. Your dmg is based off your M.att so raising that could do it, but also the skill exists to restore hp/mp/stam, stun enemies, and keep your party standing at the most crucial moments.
I don't think any reforges affect it.
the range also does not extend except for link 8 or 9 i forget which.

in that case i'd reccommend getting a staff or a combat wand to activate it with. If you go wand make sure you get a book. Get your m.att as high as you can
Also add in a scythe into your sets. Scythe can pull mobs together and make your job easier by pushing them into the circle. That and also get a spirit on that staff that way you get chain cast on intermediate magics. spam thunder a lot. if you get overwhelmed, run back to the starting door and kite them in the door with thunder
