Most of the best in slot bard enchants are unreasonably expensive because they are from old gachas that haven't been rerun in a while. Having to sell a kidney to afford enchants kinda sucks.

Nexon should honestly rerun the bard gachas with bard enchants or put the bard enchants into a new gacha. I'd also take it being put into some end game drop pool, whatever it is that can make the price tags more reasonable, buying all of the better bard enchants is incredibly expensive, which would be kinda fine if not for the fact that there isn't even a cheaper alternative for some of them. Ones like maestro, the wing enchants and chorus don't have cheaper options that are slightly worse and non gacha alternatives, which I reckon would also be a fine solution if something like that were created.

I don't have an issue with a talent being expensive to minmax, it just sucks there's no cheaper alternatives for some of the enchants, as well as the fact the enchants aren't obtainable by any means other than buying them from a player and they haven't been reran in a while.

bard enchants were just ran like 3-5 months ago so im not sure how often you want them but thats pretty recent so!

I've been playing extremely actively since the frieren collab I don't remember seeing any bard gachas within that 5 month frame between them and now. Ethereal ballet didn't have bard enchants.

Yeah but with something as universally necessary as bard it should be ran more frequently or made more available or non gacha alternatives should be made. A cosmetic not being re-ran for 3 years is not as bad as not having stuff for arguably the most crucial talent in the game being re-ran.

Also if they ran bard stuff in a gacha there is nothing stopping them from running other stuff that could be re-ran in the same gacha.

Creepy/Haunted haven't been seen in a long long time too... granted we have Imprisoning from glenn vhm which is better than creepy but still no alternative to Haunted.

Sadly as much as I agree and support this, to maximize sale profits, Nexon won't rerun these often.- This is nexon after all.
Your best bet is to wait for alternative/slightly worse enchants like VHM glenn introduced for accessories max dmg/m.atk enchants.

Maestro is 600m and it's literally the only option for suffix for boots and hand
however i hope this is enough arrows to make my stance clear 😭

Maestro, Whisperer, Aello, Icarus and there's not even a head prefix. My view still stays the same and you're not gonna change it, it's the most crucial class in the game it should have the enchants be obtainable or cheaper alternatives for ones that aren't should exist or have the existing ones ran more.

well it also does depend on what type of gloomy youre running.. cuz people rlly only need to be close to 60 to feel good- didnt someone test that they could get to 60 with normal effect with f2p enchants too..

I'm on the side of everything gameplay related should be obtainable either fully in game or mostly the same ingame. If there was a gacha verison of something that was mostly the same like creepy and vhm enchant I think it wouldn't matter at all.

Obtainable versions/similar alternatives would be fine, cheaper slightly weaker alternatives would be fine, putting them in new gachas to make them cheaper would be fine. Anything that makes barding more obtainable is just better, especially since it's a hard required talent for everyone.

It would be nice if we got some form of pity system for gacha and exclusive enchants were just in rotation in that shop.

Whisperer/Maestro/Wings enchants not being obtainable by anything other than gacha is a problem. Hell, enchantable wings itself not being obtainable by anything other than gacha is a problem in of itself. I fully support there being cheaper and slightly weaker alternatives. I was thinking of building a bard set, and decided to drop the idea entirely and settle on 47% hauntings, because I saw how unreasonably expensive it is to go any further than that.

Bard enchants aren't the only problem, though. Someone already mentioned Creepy/Haunted, but Spooky/Eerie also hasn't been run in over a year. Diana ES/Celaeno ES hasn't been ran in 2 years. It shouldn't cost me 250m to potentially roll 3 Magic Attack out of a roll of 3-5, but this is the reality we currently live in.

It made me roll my eyes when we recently got a wing gacha, but no wing enchants to go with it on that same gacha. This had to be done on purpose.

Aside bard, we are getting and have gotten alternatives for;

  • 67th Floor(Alternative in Meteoroid and Bri Leith enchants)
  • Creepy(Alternative in Glenn VHM)
  • Haunted(Alternative in Glenn VHM)
  • Eerie(Alternative in Glenn VHM)
  • Spooky(Alternative in Glenn VHM)

It may be possible that the direction they are heading in is to make more options attainable with naturally farmed enchants and possibly leave behind the Gach enchants for the most part.

I generally support ideas of making gach anything, especially older gach, attainable through the game. Allow people to earn it without their wallet getting involved.

Trundle's original post is my hope, and definitely hope that my reply above is not a prophecy in how I am seeing it play out as of now.

Just would like to point out that this is possibly the lowest rates that C/H and E/S have ever been run at, despite being half a decade old and E/S seeing the recent buff, making them even more sought after. Included, in order, are the rates they were at in Forest Ranger, Elemental Harmony, and Sea Angel boxes. Note forest ranger and elemental harmony were even also gear gachapons, meaning they were sharing space with other gameplay impactful things as well.

Honestly, anything in a box being at less than 1 in 1000 feels frankly predatory to me. That's essentially pricing these enchants at over $1000. I defend a lot of decisions nx makes for gameplay changes, but this is just unacceptable, especially for items this old.

Also VHM does not have an enchant equiv of Haunted, there is currently no suffix that has the same max damage as it. Imprisoning which is a prefix does come from VHM but that is it.

I agree that these rates are insane but atp Nexon has clearly ignored our surveys and continues to be predatory with their gacha.

yeah its just kinda worse that they went from .11 to .09 after SIX YEARS after being released almost a DECADE AGO. it'd be one thing if it started rare (though around 1/1000 is too rare for anything) and then got more available over time, but these are like.. doing the opposite of that, which is what i'm mad about. not significantly, but enough that it feels like an insult. it's terrible either way but its just like a new layer of predatory

It just really really feels like Nexon took the feedback surveys and threw them straight in the trash without giving them a glance. We supposedly have another coming up in Winter that will most likely go ignored on the NA side.

disagree. make better gacha enchants and make a habit of pushing them out every season or year in typical powercreep fashion

we shouldn't be fighting tooth and nail to get 10 year old enchants anyways

Love that they released them with lower rates than ever before and the price has stayed basically the same on Haunted. Thanks Nexon!

No sadly... but putting them at rates other than 0.09% would've been nice. The gachas in NA need a serious overhaul but sadly we will never see it because they won't fix it if they don't have to. The only reason they have a pity system over in KR is because of their gambling laws. It doesn't matter how much we kick or scream, they will never change it because corporate greed knows no limits.

Bumping this since gacha leaves this Thursday and we will not see these enchants again for another 3+ years. It would be nice if by the time they did come back the gacha system was reworked that way everyone has a fair chance at getting these enchants instead of gambling for a 0.09% chance. To me that is utter insanity and an overreach of greed from Nexon. They will abuse their player base and take advantage of us time and time again because our gambling laws don't protect us when instead they could raise the overall morality and entice people to buy more gacha.
