Add a lake/area that is always night time so we can use constellation fishing whenever we want. It's a huge pain waiting for the exact time frame to use the skill and then be locked there unable to do anything but sit for 16 minutes. At least let me choose when I do my fishing.

Personally, wouldn't want it to be quite that simple.
but maybe enabling the skill during daytime with the auto fishing rate gain only? So yes, you could do the minigame if you wanted, and you could do it during daytime, but because theres little/no visibility of the stars, you cant draw on their power much at all, resulting in minimal star fragment gain.
That way night time fishing is still the more rewarding method (since playing minigame drastically improves the crystal gain) while enabling a more passive harvest of the fragments otherwise.

I think it'd be nice if they just add a little pond or lake in the Stellar Citadel and have that map be considered "night", it would make the Stellar Citadel have more function

So fishing off the edge of the stellar citadel platform (could make it a quest to unlock it). Would give the place another use besides once in a great while to change set ups.

I was thinking maybe a generic Day Crystal that can be used at a ratio to craft into other crystals. Like a Palala Fragment and Palala Crystal's. Like fishing the star overhead instead of those far away?
