I would say go for making the NB, I doubt the crafting price will fluctuate very much with the new release. (especially with every NB weapon using the same materials!)
Between run limits existing, and the immediate hunt for new materials for new weapons, the SL stuff will most likely be out of many players budgets when it releases.

just for context, word on the street is/was that the upcoming needs drobe/irusan bell/glen halo, but recently people have cleared with 4-7p. (though they're playing on instant ping unlike us)
plus they still seem to be actively rebalancing overseas - #1035224459256270879
note that pers blade was released with a relatively lower bar of entry. EKs will need NB to run the new dungeon.
