Summary: This has gotta be introduced by the recent shop changes. Glwyas is selling all his enchanted and special/large cooking gear for gold, instead of Food Court Seals! If this is intentional, woo, that's fun. If not, um... oops?
UPDATE: It might be caused by the Day of the Week Discount (Wednesday's Shop Special Discount).

Difficulty:
Negative. (The player can buy all of the fancy chef stuff for less than 20k gold!)

Details:
Interestingly, the pouches are unaffected, and sell for three Delivery List 3s, even in List View. I'm not able to verify whether this affects his Secret Shop books at this time--probably worth looking into that too.
