I think it's fine to ask for it up front but I'd really rather this didn't become a normalized thing. I'm pretty sure there's enough people that don't even need the elementals for enough points

I think if you want to stay a Royal Enchanter for the clout/benefits you should be willing to pay up whether it be time or elementals.

Don't have to be. People will do it themselves or do it for their friends. Your service isn't valuable when someone can easily replace you.

I understand the sentiment and I for one would be perfectly down helping with their missions if they enchanted several pieces of gear/it was discussed beforehand...but I say this as a fellow royal that I choose to become/stay a royal because I want to help people and be a valuable asset to my community/friends free of charge. Yeah the grind each week can become taxing/annoying but that's the price we pay.
