#Allow pre-existing 'Scythe' (2h Axe/Staff) app scrolls to be applicable to Scythe Weapons

Title. Kind of silly how this wasn't retroactively a thing to begin with.

Below are the pre-existing 'Scythe' appearance scrolls.

  • Duskveil / Moonshadow Emissary Scythe
  • Death Herald Scythe
  • Frost Great Scythe
  • Sickle Rat Staff
  • Guardian Scythe Staff
  • Deathscythe Weapon Appearance Scroll (Scythe that Reaps Darkness)

These appearance scrolls should be retroactively applicable to the new Scythe Weapons as well. || Nexon KR, if you get the very funny idea to rerelease these as Scythe app scrolls in some gacha I hope both sides of your pillow are warm 🫵 ||

Yes, this should be a thing, as some skins that were recently released happened prior to the update. If they do re-release this content in another Gacha just for scythes, its just ammo for me to uninstall the game once and for all...

i am not familiar with any existing cases of weapon scrolls being applicable to 2 weapon classes at the same time.
id guess that, however it works, may mean that it cant do that.

so the logical course, is to create 2 versions of each of those scrolls
example:
"Frost Great Scythe Two-Handed Axe Appearance Scroll"
"Frost Great Scythe Scythe Appearance Scroll"

they cant rip, the existing skins off the existing weapons, since there will be players who already own a 2-H axe using the skin.
and you cant just suddenly make their existing weapon illegal

That's quitter's talk and I believe you're missing my point. worryweird I repeat: if Nexon KR has the very funny idea to create scythe-only versions of pre-existing "scythe" app scrolls without retroactively finding and providing a method of applying pre-existing scrolls (saved or otherwise) to the new weapon type I wish only the most grevious of minor inconviences upon them. I hope their pillows remain warm, their socks get soaked on their way to work and that vending machines double charge them when they tap to go. Whatever workaround they decide to go for, it'll be genuine scum if their solution is "we'll rerelease them but you gotta pull it again from gacha lmao." 🫵

they can have it where if you have it in the wardrobe it can apply it to both 2h and scythes.

from a technical view, it would be the appearance scroll that would have to change, as I hope that they are just re-using code they already have, and scripts. Assuming that the wardrobe is just a fancy reuse appearance scroll, it should beable to change the script of that scroll to allow for both, depending on the script structure. Code wise, it isn't impossible, nor difficult, as it is such a small amount of scripts that this affects. Now, if it was to change an entire weapon class type? Then yeah, it would be difficult.

they have sold the same skin as separate scrolls before
why allow your old items to work now
its beneficial for us but they will morelikely resell a new one
