#Tailoring Request Minigame Bug

As in, if you don't click to close the Minigame before the timer is up, the game acts as if you failed part of the Minigame and lowers your Quality?
Correct.
Found this bug while crafting a really expensive item for a player (darkdiviner on a Brielle's Outfit). I would like Nexon to make them whole. It does not create a good experience for players when features are not implemented uniformly. There was no way for us to know you had to close the minigame on Requests, when this is not the case when doing regular Tailoring.
I've done some testing of my own but can unfortunately not confirm whether or not ignoring the last click would incur a penalty on the quality of the item - Since my items would still sign with proper quality even if I didn't do it
(The "last click" being one additional click anywhere in the window after connecting the X and O's like in the screenshot below)
I did notice though that compared to the Blacksmithing mini-game, the Tailoring one has a few differences that make it not as clear on what to do at the end:
- The timer at the end of the Blacksmithing minigame will stop, the one at the end of the Tailoring minigame does not.
- The text at the top of the Blacksmithing minigame states "Click anywhere to finish the work", whereas the Tailoring minigame simply states "Start Tailoring", which is not a very clear instruction.
The text at the end of the minigame probably needs to be updated, and the timer at the end of the minigame should stop just like in the Blacksmithing one. That way a loss of quality could be avoided just in case that "last click" happens to actually incur a penalty.
I tested with Tailoring and didn't really see a difference (my worst test was actually one I made myself, without a friend requesting it). But @torpid kettle you did make sure to have Tailoring Active Talent on right?
Active Talent bonus is not automatically applied to Artisans (despite that being an incredibly silly thing to do).
From the description, Active Tailor Talent seems to only provide a chance to get some materials back, and does not say to increase quality. I did test with another Royal Tailor by both Requesting and doing Tailoring ourselves, who saw the same drop in quality when Requesting and not closing the minigame by clicking again. We are able to get signed equipment by playing the mini game and letting the timer run out outside of requests, and get very poor to poor results when we do the same on requests. If we add an extra click on requests and close the minigame, we get signed equipment.
