Summary:
The Wild West Gunslinger Eyepatch does not seem to display the correct colors when being dyed

Difficulty:
Normal (People will be wasting dyes)
Advanced (For an eyepatch lover like me)

Occurrence:
Always

Details:
It seems the item does not dye as it should. The picture attached shows, I tried dying a pure white. The eyepatch comes out looking more like a silver, a noticeable gray.
(A similer issue happened with the Shadow Reaper Mask when it was first released.)

Couple items are like that by default. Not necessarily a bug just poor efforts on the design

#

For example, moonlight hunter coat is slightly purple ish when it has a 0,0,0 dye. Still frustrating

im not sure thats a "bug", its working as intended
all dye areas "tint" to a certain extent.
the item has in-built shadowing, or shading.
-- basically (Your Dye) + (the natural leaning of the item) = the final color

#

it might be impossible to turn it into a pure white, if the item inherently says no

i jus wanna say i agree w poster, when the reaper mask came out it had this exact issue and it was acknowledged and fixed in a maint. maybe if all other parts of the set also gave this similar middle gray we cud argue the set has a tint, but other parts r fine. bug!
