Talking to Melwyn with the correct items for a Society Mission lock too quickly, breaks the mission

Steps to reproduce

1. get a society mission that you already have the items for
2. immediately talk to Melwyn

Result: You get a pop up saying you turned in the items, the quest is not completed.

How often does this happen:
Everytime that the quest doesn't immediately show up in your quest tab. It only breaks if you turn in the items in between the time you 'accept' the quest from Melwyn and when it actually shows up on your quest log.

Impact: Losing items, being unable to complete the quest and needing to reset the quest to get another.

I believe the issue is resolved if you change channels and let the game update your quest logs.

And this is an issue I feel with Quests in general, not just Society Missions. I guess its a "client doesn't update properly" sort of thing because the Quest Log is still waiting for the Owl animation to play out but the game will still let you progress on the quest and then the whole thing becomes desynced until you refresh it.

the problem is when you complete quest objectives before the quest even appears in your menu
its not an issue if you wait for it
this also happens with Mainstream quests where you spam talking to the NPC before the next quest
where either the next quest conditions or the Clear Button is unavailable to you
