Rest has existed since the beginning of the game and I was recently reminded that rest could actually give you different sitting poses depending on if you had certain pieces of equipment. However, once you get rank 9 rest(trivially easy by now), your resting pose is always overridden by the rank 9 pose instead.
Considering we've long since had skills with configurable features, I think it would be a much appreciated improvement to be able to configure which resting pose when we use the skill. It could also be an opportunity to expand the amount of poses available through rest.
