#Volume of the new 1x3 inline tanks

My three arguments in favor:
Efficiency: at 360L, they offer less volume per kit invested, and less volume per small grid space invested, than the old 1x2 tanks. In 95% of all cases it will be better to continue using the old 1x2 tanks instead. At 400L, the new 1x3 tank would actually be desirable to build.
WYSIWYG: from the 1x1 tank, the player learns that the two end caps are worth 100L, and from the 1x2 tank, that the section between the end caps is worth 150L. This makes perfect sense, as the end caps visually contain less volume in them. Therefore, the 1x3 tank with its 100L endcaps and two 150L middle sections should sum up to 400L. But for some reason the second middle section, which is exactly the same as the first one, is only 110L...? That just feels wrong!
Quality of Life: it is easier to do math in your head with multiples of 100, 250, and 400 than it is to do math in your head with multiples of 360.
having multiple also adds up nicely, 3x 2length is 250x3 = 750, 2 3length would be 800, just slightly better and reduced objects
