More than normal ping after patch

I commonly play on a server (Snowman's Duelyard) where, before the most recent patch, I would average 40-50ms. Now, after the most recent patch I am averaging 84-94ms. Even when the server browser shows that I have 40-48ms, i get 80-94ms in game.

only me and a handful of other people are experiencing this issue.
I have tried reconnecting multiple times, restarted internet, verified game files, deleted mod.io, uninstalled and reinstalled mordhau,
the ping stays the same no matter what map is played, same for the amount of players on the server

Also, ANY other server that I had good ping on before the most recent patch, I still have great ping to said servers, its just the one i am playing now (Snowman's Duelyard)

if other servers are okay, im not sure how it could be game related

though could be a server mod I suppose, causing some extra ms

you could try the hard reset though, if you think it could be the game

uninstalling/etc doesnt help in anyway usually
