In the end of the day barren is simply a neglected map variation offered from the FP devs. If FP improve it (F7 -> Feedback) I'd be sure to give it a try. But for now I have no plans to create new servers other than the potential EU 10x. But there's nothing stopping you hosting a barren yourself if you think it'll be so successful. But I am telling you now there's a reason why there's no EU barren servers.

Suggestion for just 5x's tomorrow: Since force wipe is 1 day after wipe. You should make it a super chaotic wipe with no /s shop cooldown and like 10 points every 10 minutes. Would be super fun with everyone raiding everyone and non stop pvp.

Think there should be some sort of reward system for those that regularly support the server. For example, if you buy kit PVP every month your loyalty is rewarded by a quicker respawn time. After each month it decreases by 10 the mins or something like that. With the resource kits you could get a % increase depending on the amount of consecutive months.

Took a quick look at kit loyal. Could use a little buff ( Yes I understand it is just extra rewards for following all social medias but its kinda lack luster for someone who follows EVERYTHING) The scrap is a bit useless, you can farm 250 in less than 5 minutes and has little to no value. The pipes are really random as I've never needed pipes on the server, they are very abundant. The rifle body is very nice to see. Scraps and pipes imo just need to be replaced with something more useful. (Sorry for long suggestion I know the system and kit just came out)

Honestly I would be happier with the sulfur, rifle bodies and some types of building mats. They are always welcome in kits as myself personally, the least farming I have to do, the better.
But I do understand you provide a lot of those with other kits already.
(Very personal) But hell i'd take a bed, rifle body and the sulfur as well. I always find myself waiting in bag timers and wanting a bed, but never actually crafting one XD. but that's probs just me lmao
Also I understand the reasoning for having laptops and camera's so high in the /s shop. For no turret spam. But they are a bit too expensive (Might be a bit better now that you can earn 6 points an hour" But I feel like even dropped them to 9 or 8 points a piece would make them feel alot more accessible. Or just slightly upping their spawn rate in game. Those of the two components I rarely have. Even after a good wipe and raiding 10+ medium size base I'm lucky if we have 2 laptops and cams.

Also 11 points for C4 is TERRIBLE. 4 rockets are 14 points. For all use and purpose 4 rockets is equivalent to 2 c4 but 2 c4 would cost 7 extra points.

Double barrel could use to come down to 2 point, no reason pump and double are 3. As pump would just be the smart choice at the same point value.
Thompson and custom should (imo) be switched personally thompson is much better in more situations. Make custom 4 points and tommy 5.
Again currently python and tommy are same value, python should be 3 as they are not any guns competing for the 3 point value. It's a powerful pistol but just not as good in every situation as the tommy.
LR and AK are both 9 points right now. I'd suggest bringing LR to 7 (the old ak amount of points) as it's the military grade rifle but also very weak.
It's current price point would just come down to preference.
Bring hi-velo pistol bullet down to 2 points. (I know myself and many others who just go for a revolver and cheap ammo to try and make a play) And now buying a revolver seems more pricey with the added cost to the cheap pistol bullets.
Other than that the weapons shop looks pretty good.

😛 I have a few more too. Just looking through the whole shop. (Icepick is currently same cost as jackhammer) Jackhammer is just miles better at farming than icepick, so i'd bring the cost down from 3 to 2 on the pick.
Other than that tools and traps section look fair and balanced
Ladder is now 3 points, previously 1. 1 def was too cheap for convivence but 3 feels too much. (thinking about 3 points being a half hours worth of time) 2 would probably suit the ladder much better and feel more useable.
Wooden gate and stone gate are both 3 points, I'd suggest bring wooden gate down to 2, to match the wooden wall. Then bring the stone wall up to 3 to match stone gate. Again so two items are not competing at the same price point.
Same issue with Tactical gloves and roadsign gloves. Why would you want roadsign when you could have a built in laser attachment with the tactical ones. Raise Tactical to 2 points.
Just a generally lower cost on most attire (high end stuff) Personally have NEVER bought any high end armor from that part of the shop. ( I don't have a price point for them as I know it's a balance thing) but they do seem too expensive as an option.
Other than all of those. That is all of my /s suggestions everything else not mentioned looked balanced and fair.
Last thing was just maybe looking into making kit loyal a bit more useful. So yeah good job on the new system and point shop overhaul and keep up the good work.

Suggestion to the VIP Perks, especially on Vanilla x2.
I think the perks for Bed/Sleeping bag timer is a P2W feature.
Especially since the Server is about the vanilla experience, 20 seconds timer on a bed is really huge.
Just imagine raiding a group of 4 with VIP.
Everyone just has a 20s timer, so you basically have people swarming out of their base.
I think it's okay for the Servers with TP, since you have /home anyways right away. But I think the Vanilla Servers should really not have this perk.

I totally understand that but that server doesn't even accumulate enough to pay 50% of its share of a dedicated server. That sort of perk is the only one I thought would be viable enough to increase revenue on the server without adding kits. It's one of those tough decisions server owners have to make. It's either that perk remains and we get 50% of the dedicated server paid for, for vanilla 2x. OR we get 0% and I shut it down.

My suggestion is blocking the destruction of foundation wiping people if you get TC access. If someone wants to wipe your foundation, they should have to use explosives to do so. They shouldn't be able to just grab TC and /remove your fucking foundation.

Leather in shop: You need leather to craft gear a lot of it which even on a 5x is hard to obtain. I always have a hard time finding animals. I have all of these points and nothing to use them on and find myself using hazmat most of the time

Is there a way to tie /remove permission to your SteamID rather than TC access, or maybe make it a custom item (don't think those are possible in Rust like they are in RunUO). It's an amazing tool that's used badly so often.

Vanilla 2x is indeed in severe need of a map wipe. I get it was a proc gen map, but it is the worst map we have played on, and it has greatly impacted the population in a negative way. Barely any players left on it

In my opinion we do not need 8 people for a 5x server, in my time on Rustoria 5x Eu i see daily people complaining about the max group size being 8. About 80% of the groups on there are 3-4. I think you should lower the max group size we do not need 8 people per group on a 5x server it is ridiculous.
