No BPs EU 1X - Friday wipe with nobp concept is awesome. Perfect for the players that cant play most weekdays. Some suggestions might be having the crafting times halved, some kind of group limit and maybe some of the blueprints still locked, so that you have some bps to hunt for

I have been enjoying the raid/block/rebuild on zeus no bp's, i think the same plugin should be on Enyo, so if you wall up whilst in raid zone, wall starts off at 1hp then increases, it's a good plugin! far too easy to wall on on Enyo when raiding.

Instead of shutting down the 1x NoBP:

Swap it to a 2nd Zeus 5x and halve/decrease the slots on both it and Zeus 5x, then reduce map size on both to help them keep action all around.
Pros:
-better performances;
-community doesn't have to face the same people every single wipe (it's good to have rivalties but it becomes annoying against salty butthurt clans);
-servers will not be low on pop as people will have to split up and more people will join as most times when someone sees a queue they just prefer to go on another server rather than wait 5 minutes (rustoria queues are absurdely fast).
Cons:
-300 slots is "I have a big dick", 150 is "I'm insecure about my sex life";
-chance that one server dies completely over time.
Swap it to 5x NoBP with less slots, way smaller map and a fast paced style.
Pros:
-good performances;
-constant pvp;
-faster feedback for plugins/bugs;
-will keep people busy during wipe days.
Cons:
-might die instantly.

Rustoria should be the first people to create a modded EU/US barren server imo. The only modded barrens server that exist are Russian with the exception of ones with under 4 pop. This could attract a lot of players seeing as it would be the first real modded EU/US barren. I believe it'd ideally work as a vanilla 2x. Another cool addition you could possibly work with is including Military Tunnels each wipe as it is a rare occurrence in the barren map, possibly grabbing even more players.

For as long as the servers are popular there will have to be short wipe schedules to sustain performance and population. The higher gather rates make it easier for people to raid, make it easier for people to build bigger bases, etc. Zeus right now 3 days into the wipe has still 180k entities and the average fps of 40 for the players.

suggestions for @tame needle is a Solo/Duo and weekly, maybe few more plugins that might make it fun for solo players. I miss VIP kits and I miss quarries that are worth doing, (pointless doing on x4 day wipe schedule) usally by the time i got set, its wipe day... so maybe make it weekly x2 rates... until changes are made, I won't be back on it. (also too easy with rewards, so get rid of them, keep it VIP) would keep funds coming in for servers and running costs. (make them worth while) currently Enyo VIP isn't worth it.

I don't get it, people don't play on enyo which is a 3x trio server. Yet ryan puts 2x trio server as an option to replace it. I don't care how many people say they will play it, facts are if the 3x wasn't played I highly doubt a drop in gather and loot will make anyone else play it.

Modded is what this community does best. I.E. Why the two closest to vanilla are also the two least popular servers (2x vanilla and enyo)

My point is, did you see all the people who reacted to wanting to save enyo? And hardly no one showed up, same will go for having a poll for what people want to see replace it. They will act as if their interest is there but won't actually show up. A very good majority here plays because it's pretty modded and doesn't require heaps of time.

If you are going to replace enyo, don't replace it with the same stuff, that's just doing something the same but slightly different and expecting it to grow. And it just won't imo.

I'd suggest trying something like a no workbench, no bp server of some sort. It's been proven that there is a player base wanting something like that and no real supply of it. If rustoria was one of the first big communities to put a popular server like that into play. It would be a game changer.

A server like that would also cut down on people leaving due to being raided. Atm as easy as it is to replace a tier 3 might take maybe 30 minutes, but that just isn't worth it to some people rather than switch to a new server that wiped more recently and restarting there. But take away the face of having to really get anything back and people would be more inclined to restart instantly and just stay because they have nothing tieing their progression down. But again, all in my opinion. But I strongly feel like Rustoria would thrive with a server like that.

@grave hull I get it. However I think when it comes to 3x there is already established 3x servers with insane amounts of population that are always a preference in potential enyo players.

When it comes to a 2x s/d/t its heavily requested, hardly any out there coming from reputable names. So I personally think it'd have more of a chance than enyo.

I've tried with enyo too long. If it comes to the 2x s/d/t being a flop, whats the worse that can happen? that'd follow suit and that'd shut down also.

I fully understand. It just comes down to again, people will always put false interest into things and say they want them and be very vocal about it. But when it comes to putting that interest into action hardly ever happens or fades quickly. Just seems like you'd do best to just put something up that already would show results rather than rely on, an unreliable public opinion.

I've found that those who are vocal about what they want are most generally in the minority. Those that are content with what they have have no reason to be vocal but are also the ones that are more open to trying something new.

For sure, I know people say/vote for things they want that they actually don't want, or do. It happened to the 1x No BPs I launched before.

But I have nothing to loose at this point, I'd rather try other things than just sit here and continue to support a server that doesn't even go above 50 pop anymore.

For sure, I definitely think trying something else is very worth it. I just want you to waste your time setting up a server that people say they want just to have a rerun of enyo.

I personally play the no bp servers and at times the BP 5x as well. But there's always a small gap where I don't have anything to do and enyo and vanilla don't fill that gap. I just felt something like I suggested, on the same wipe schedule as enyo would do really well. But I could also be very wrong. But at the very least maybe you will look into it and at least consider it as an option.

Yeah I think I'll go with my gut (2x s/d/t) to start with. If that's a no go I'll be looking at other options such as ones you suggested.

The time thing is not a worry, I never put a huge amount of time into new server launches. I get it where its visibly what I want it to be to start with and I improve it over time.

An example of this is using laggy/easy plugins on a server launch and then optimising them over time.
