We just have a blanket policy to not wipe bases. Sometimes bans can be appealed, etc. It's just how we treat every player regardless of circumstance. We also don't redistribute loot as that'd be an absolute nightmare.

I understand the frustration though but hopefully you're happy they're gone and off the server. I've spent a lot of time playing Rust and get the feeling of wishing their base was wiped but personally feel it's a good policy. And if they were breaking a rule/cheating, yes, they're gone. We just don't interfere with gameplay or at least as little as humanly possible.

and get it deployed via k8s, you can also set a health check and re deploy it if it gets down
