We have played on the rustoria servers for years now. most of us have never had any issues whatsoever on these servers either. We are a group of friends trying to play a game for fun. Not trying to have any issues at all and not looking to break any rules. Yet here we are, banned for playing with 9 people while we have only been playing with 8 people at once for the entire time, no sketchy shit with a 9th person going on whatsoever. We get banned for while we are roaming without any notice whatsoever. Keep in mind, it's not that we are being banned for cheating or something like it. for EXCEEDING group limit. The only thing admin @red prairie had to do was look up basic logs about our players. This would show that there never have been more than 8 players active or even playing at the same time. This is not difficult. It's a very basic thing for an admin to check his or her facts to make sure people do not get falsely banned. It is true that there was a 9th bed in the base. But how extreme is it if you have a humongous base to have everyone pick up their beds and replace them just to find out whose bed is whose. Still, this is something we could be held accounted for. But why is there need for a ban if it is completely clear and easily to see for an admin that we made sure to not ever play with more than 8 players. Then there is the appeal. We come in here showing facts and trying to properly appeal our ban by chatting in the #support text-channel. After admin @red prairie tells us "You need to /cupboard clear and /codelock clear and get him out of the base and remove his bag" he refuses to actually let us properly appeal our ban.
Only vaguely stating "I mean one of you was banned previously for exceeding group limit so you should know". After this he refuses to give a name making this statement even more vague. Furthermore this admin refused to have any more contact and simply ignored every single one of us. Right after this admin does this a Chat Mod comes in stating we are not allowed to tag Admins into our messages, even though they are directed to them. One of us tags an Admin once again into his message and gets muted/silenced from typing by this Chat Mod. Let me state the rules on this: “Don’t tag Admins or Discord staff if your issue is not extremely urgent.” Now we have just been banned while in the middle of a roam leaving our base completely unprotected. Please do explain how this is not an urgent issue on a gaming server. After this another Chat Mod comes in claiming false accusations about other clans not knowing what he is talking about. After these nuisances we still have not had any support, been silenced to simply get rid of us and falsely accused. After waiting a little we finally get to talk to multiple admins. However none of these admins are actually the one that has banned us. We were hoping to be able to explain our case, show facts, show proof and hopefully get some support. Instead of these admins coming in to try and help is out in someway the only thing we get to hear is: “It is not our ban so we can’t do anything”. What?
Why are we (supposedly) getting support from multiple admins if they say they can’t do anything for us. Why is the admin that has banned us not willing to chat with us while being active. Why do we not get the chance to show that we have made an honest mistake that we even tried to avoid and instead instantly get banned without any possibility of correcting our wrongs. Keep in mind, we are not big bad wolves that were hunting down other players with aimbot or ESP. No, we were players trying to have fun making sure we did not actively play with more than 8 players. Once again, only when 1 player went offline another came online. We did not know that when someone gets kicked from a clan we still have to clear the cupboard and doors. This is also something we were not able to see as the player went offline so he can’t even check for us. The only thing an admin had to tell us was to get rid of a bed in our base. Is that now really why we have been banned for an entire wipe? A bed too many in the base? How ridiculous is it that admins are unwilling and unable to help out players that enjoy playing a game and simply were having fun with their friends.
I hope all admins get some restraint, humanity and a good look over from their higher ups.
For the Chat Mods, I do not think there is a way to keep them from ignorant power hungry fools.
I do not have the best English, I know. But I do think the message is clear here.
