so these dudes were raiding the area, they hit my base in the middle of their spree, most of the base was still intact
but I was waiting out the 3 minute timer before I could start reclaiming and building it back.
I walked like over a crest to a hidden base to grab mats and when I returned less than 5 minutes later the entire base had poofed.
but the other bases they hit decayed all night.
what did they do, and how can I prevent that?

You "Assume" they're hacking, nothing is set in stone that they're actually hacking. Coming into the discord and saying to admins/staff "You don't do anything" do you really think after all the hours they give for free they want to see that?
You report them, then you call them out. As I said, you make it 100X harder and you even said yourself they stop doing it (If they're hacking) once you call them out/report. So why call them out?
