@stray mica this is a rust networking issue. it is to do with culling (the feature that Rust uses to render only what you see)
Teleporting seems to fuck up this feature and it is not to do with teleporting itself. it is to do with rusts sides of things. they are aware of it but evidently supporting modded is not at the top of their priorities.

The issue you are referring to has been an issue for 2 years easily. I believe it is to do with the networking library they use (RakNet). I have looked into sending different network updates to players and such to fix it but no luck. So it is just the waiting game I am afraid.
But you have to remember how many things Rust devs have to fix that are way more important that a modded teleporting issue that happens <1% of the time.

You can, we have no base restrictions on our servers. The only thing we ask is to not make absolutely huge bases that effect the client performance of surrounding players. Also you cannot wall off huge unclaimable areas or monuments.

We increased it due to the sheer amount of M2s people were obtaining. We assumed that the price of them on a low pop server was too low, so we increased them. Just remember we can always change it back in the future! If you feel like it should be reduced again make a post in #feedback-suggestions @near halo
