@everyone Important update regarding the future of @grave sequoia
As you regular UKN players know, the manager of UKN was recently game banned. Rustoria obviously does not tolerate hackers and cheaters in any way.
At first it was believed he was not cheating, but EAC and FP have a track record of correcting themselves usually within the day of their fuckup. It's happened to myself and countless others in this community in the past. This leaves us to assume that the UKN manager was indeed, using cheats/hacks.
But moving on, we'll be cutting ties with the UKN manager as we have a zero tolerance for hacking and cheating. Meaning we'll be shutting the UKN server down.
We may have something in its replacement in the future. But for the foreseeable future Rustoria will not be hosting an event server of any kind.
We hope this decision sets an example of what other communities should do in certain scenarios. Cheating comes with serious consequences.
As of 07/06/2018 UKN will be taken offline for good.

See you there.```I have made some tweaks and adjustments to raid block to make it more accurate. It was having some issues detecting nearby players in certain scenarios. This is now fixed, please let me know.
I'm also organising a test run of a major gameplay change we'd be trialing out on the No BPs server wipes this Wednesday. That would be a counteractive measure of walling loot in on online raids. Online raids are a big part of our servers, especially No BPs so I will be giving this system in mind a trial run to gather opinions. More details of this system will arise sooner to the date, so those 🐍 in here can't get a head start.
If this gameplay mechanic change makes it in post force wipe on our servers, it will only be featured on the No BPs servers might I add. Zeus is our main server with minimal gameplay mechanics adjusted other than the acceleration.

ENTITY HEALTH REGENERATION WHEN IN RAID ZONES.
How will this work?
These measures are to counteract walling in loot in online raids. Placing doors and building blocks when you are not in a raid zone will be normal. I will be 100% adding this in for the Wednesday-Thursday wipe for both servers and gather opinions in this time.
If I decide to keep this functionality in the servers after the Wednesday-Thursday wipe, it will ONLY be on our No BPs servers. I try to avoid vanilla mechanic changes on our BP servers such as Zeus.

Twig blocks are instantly at full health when placed in a raid zone.
Wood blocks start at 10 health and reach max health in 30 seconds from the upgrade/placement.
Stone blocks start at whatever health the last tier of upgrade was, then reach max health in 60 seconds.
Sheet blocks start at whatever health the last tier of upgrade was, then reach max health in 120 seconds.
Armoured blocks start at whatever health the last tier of upgrade was, then reach max health in 180 seconds.
Wood doors take 30 seconds to reach to max health after placement.
Sheet doors take 60 seconds to reach to max health after placement.
Garage doors take 120 seconds to reach to max health after placement.
Armoured doors take 180 seconds to reach to max health after placement.
There are no health regeneration for external walls, however I can add this easily in the future.
These statistics are ONLY when entities are upgraded/placed INSIDE a raid zone. Building outside of a raid zone inherits normal behaviour.

I have also changed some behavior with building block and door placements in raid zones. Walling loot in was becoming a big scummy thing of our servers. Now it's near impossible as the moment you place a building block or door inside of a raid zone the health progressively reaches max health. Tomorrows wipe will be a test period to see whether people like this change.

The other servers will remain on schedule and wipe at their usual dates and times.

I apologise for the private messages you would have gotten during this fuck up!
The roles now are revoked, some of you who logged off in this time still have them. But the next time you log into a Rustoria server you will not have them anymore!

I have blocked the following items to be crafted instantly. These items lead to huge FPS dropping areas by players I refer to as "dick heads".

Fixed an issue where you sometimes didn't have your steam perks despite you being in our Steam group for longer than 30 minutes.
Fixed an issue where donators didn't always get their Discord tag in a rare edge case.
Removed vote alert messages - the voting site doesn't serve of much benefit to us anymore. I'd prefer to keep the chat clean for more important/beneficial messages. However I'd still like to remain at a decent rank so I am keeping /vote in the servers.
Refactored a lot of code in the voting plugin.

- Stack size of 5.56 ammo has been increased from 250 to 256 for my OCD since it didn't match stack sizes
- Removed Auto Turrets from the shop
- Increased price of CCTV Camera
- Increased price of Targeting Computer
- Added diving gear to the shop
- Made the quarry cost 6 points as opposed to 10
- Explosive 5.56 now costs 8 instead of 4
- HQM Ore now costs 5 instead of 3

@everyone the connection issues are due to a huge targetted attack against Rustoria.
Every single one of our servers are getting ddos'd at huge scales. I mean huge. The best providers on the market are finding it hard to fight against. So this kinda hints towards the fact that it's likely an attack of a size they rarely see.
This is likely due to a sort of exploit. I have people working hard to find it out to patch. Currently the EU servers are somewhat handling it.
Our US servers unfortunately aren't doing it that well.
It's in the professionals hands. There's nothing I can do.
Some sweaty virgin hates us. That's been made clesr to us.
I will not be making more announcements past this point unless I really have to. I seriously hate bringing attention to these bastards.

See you there!```@everyone after assessing server longevity dropoffs the further into a BP wipe the team and I believe its best to introduce a biweekly BP wipe on all our servers.
Starting from the 5th July (Force wipe) we'll be introducing this.
When this new BP wipe schedule is introduced we'll be turning off the syncing of BPs between Enyo and Zeus as the schedules counteract.
You may dislike this change however it is for the better. You regular Zeus and Enyo players know how easy it is to get BPs.
The 2x players also seemingly find BPs incredibly fast.
Instead of changing our loot and possibly causing drama I will be just trying this new BP schedule out. Hope you all understand! Thanks!
NOTE: Shop points and vote points will still be wiped on force wipes. The biweekly BP schedule does not change the wipe schedule for shop & vote points.

Today I am phasing in new Discord related rules. We in no way tolerate the posting of child porn, animal porn, lolicon or any forms of pornography / nudity posted in ANY channel. These messages will be deleted INSTANTLY, repeat cases of this result in a discord BAN. These bans are also implemented IN-GAME.
We are also cracking down on the racist reactions some players are putting onto our messages in this channel in particular. The first person who reacts with these messages will have their reaction powers taken away. If you then are repeating your racist actions in other ways you will be BANNED.
More and more people are finding this discord a place to read through and chill, they don't want to feel uncomfortable or offended.

Hey all,
Enyo 3x is FULLY (BP+MAP) wiping tomorrow.
Sad news. If this wipe doesn't go well for Enyo we'll be shutting it down I am afraid. If you are VIP on this server please contact me on here to organise a transferral to one of our other servers.
I have put so much effort into this server over the past few months and I am seeing nothing to show of it. It's very demoralizing and quite frankly I'd rather dedicate my time to my other servers that see way more success if I put time into them. I honestly think this server is cursed lmfao.
Enyo was the first every Rustoria server we launched back in 2015. It has for sure went through many overhauls to make it remain populated. But over the past year or two it definitely hasn't remained at a steady population. This factor was the only thing holding back on me actually going about shutting this server down. It still is a hard fact to remember.
But yeah, if you don't want to see our only Solo/Duo/Trio server disappear, then be sure to play it tomorrow! I don't want it to go personally. But it's a waste of space and time at this point. Moderating trio limits is a tough job when you want to enforce standards like Rustoria does.

Rolling out the new preference system on the No BPs servers now! The command is as follows and only works for PVP donators.
/pref pvp
This opens an interface. You can move your items around and skin them using the box on the right. After you are happy with your preferences you can click "SAVE" at the top right.
Then when you use /kit pvp it will use those positions and skins you set.

It is no longer central US either, it is located on the East coast. Westerners should notice a ping difference but no difference that should be noticeable.

@everyone For those questioning the Rust update I will spread some light due to me being fortunate enough to have a direct source inside of Facepunch.
The update is ever so large due to Facepunch now bundling all the skins into the games download. As you know there are approximately 11GB worth of skins in the game. Due to performance issues and exploitation methods they have since compressed the skins by a good 300% and are now around the 4GB mark. This means you should no longer have those stutters mid game. This also means exploiters could not turn doors invisible, make your facemask glow in the dark, etc.
The skins like I mentioned are now bundled, your game doesn't need to download them and process them mid-game. You do all of that with the update now. This also means the skins themselves cannot be tampered with like they could before.
Hope this answers some questions!
This update is also HUGE - if you have shit internet, try to avoid restarting steam. It is not a forced update, so it doesn't hurt if you hold it off to download it overnight.

Several things were learned from the last wipe. Primarily the small map size was disapproved. So we're increasing it from 3000 to 3400.
There's some other changes/balances going live with the server wipe tomorrow. See below for details. This is to hopefully improve the server longevity. I have some other plans if these do not go as well as I expect. But trust me on this! ;)

@everyone We'll be launching a SCUM server tomorrow when it releases. I'll tag everyone here tomorrow with further information of how to play. I have no idea what the server side stuff of SCUM is going to be like just yet, but anything new is fun.
There's one major concern for me as a server owner though. That is that this game does not release the server files. This means communities like ourselves cannot host our own servers on our own hardware like we do on Rust. This means we don't have much control over server stability. This game is in a closed deal with a shared host, meaning the shared host do not need to care about competition (because there is none!). We'll see how everything goes though.
SCUM is a new survival game that is being released tomorrow at 5PM UK time.

Tomorrow is the first Thursday of the month meaning it's a forced wipe from Facepunch.
On force wipes we wipe all our servers so they're up to speed with the changes to balance from Facepunch.
I was hoping to have a huge innovative system working by tomorrow but I haven't been motivated enough lately to finish things up with that. So we'll aim to have this huge update live in a few weeks.
We do have some changes I've been working on going live tomorrow.
The following servers will be FULLY wiping.
In regards to Vanilla 2x's next map wipe - it's undecided right now. We'll see how the population is. Keep an eye here for further updates on that.
For the servers with Shop & Voting. Both shop points and vote points will be wiped.
The time of the wipes tomorrow are unknown. We never know until it's out. However we can guess and estimate! We're estimating the update will be out at around 6PM UK time / 1PM EST.
The Facepunch team have been focusing on optimisations this month, I'm keen to see the improvements!

I’m pleased to announce our new rewards system that’s going live on all our servers starting from today.
With this, we’re also rolling out our brand-new Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions
This rewards system is one of its kind and is likely going to be a big hit with other server owners copying our idea just like our “/discord auth” system.
The rewards system allows you to link social medias like Twitter, Twitch & Youtube – whilst also improving our existing rewards systems with Steam group & Discord server membership.
This rewards system optimises the server greatly, our previous systems were eating up resources like crazy. Not only this, most of you had experienced issues with our Steam group perk granting. This was due to our previous system being overloaded with the number of members we had! Well, it’s safe to say our new one won’t do that!
The link to this system is https://rustoria.link – the process is straight forward. No codes that some of you get confused with. You click buttons and then type /auth in game.
Not only does this new system allow us to give you rewards for following our social media, it allows our staff team to be managed more effectively with some backend additions that were much needed with our standards.
Obviously with all these new social medias you can follow us on, there’s more rewards to be earned.
For 5x & 10x:
Please note, this system is made from scratch. There may be issues or bugs that were not found in testing. Please report said bugs/issues to myself or my team as soon as possible.

We're having some issues with web related requests on No BPs EU 5x. I've spent the last few hours trying to diagnose them with no avail. So there may be some issues with kits, shop points and more. I'm still looking into it and if I find the cause it may require a restart later on in the wipe. Sorry!

Tomorrow is a force wipe, on force wipes we wipe all of the following if applicable.
This means all our servers will be FULLY wiping tomorrow. They will be wiping whenever the update is released. This tends to be between 6PM UK / 1PM EST - 8PM / 3PM EST.
When the update is released we will promptly be restarting the servers and updating them. There is no word of the content of the update just yet, likely will be nothing other than disabling the Christmas content.
The oil rig is believed to be added in the February force update/wipe, not this months.
I will make another announcement tomorrow tagging everyone once the servers are fully wiped, updated and online. See you then!
