Api gateway issue

I've only ever used springboot with 1 service which was enough for my personal projects but now i'm trying to learn about microservices but api-gateway never works for some reason https://github.com/wissamsu/Api-Gateway this is a test project to show u guys what i mean i've tried adding routes like:
spring.cloud.gateway.routes[0].id=user-service
spring.cloud.gateway.routes[0].uri=lb://USER-SERVICE
spring.cloud.gateway.routes[0].predicates[0]=Path=/users/**. but still didnt work
