i have just started learning a bit on Github and i realized when i clone a repository on my computer and open on IntelliJ it generates some xml files, should i be committing these to the repository or not? (i have no idea what an xml is)

there is a gitignore file that u can use, but those are config files. And xml is of the same type as html , so <start> </end> text type language
