#maven for mac

i downloaded maven from the site but when i run mvn --version from the terminal it says it is not installed. What's next step for the Mac?i just downloaded maven from the site it showed me a zip file and when i unzipped it there were different files. how can i connect it for mac. I tried it from youtube but it's unclear.

get a package manager

homebrew

#

search it up

and then once u have homebrew u can simply use

#

brew install maven

#

and boom maven is installed
