I usually scratch in my line works, with a bunch of gestures. I don't think I ever created a quality line sketch without trying. Always nice to see others with such pretty penmenship

yea, I do a linework duplicate it, then all colors get put on another layer below it. Then I merge the layers (except for the duplicate) and paint everything on one layer, that way it feels more traditional, and easier for my mind to follow

not quite. hmm I used to do awhole bunch of layers and stuff but after I learned to managed myself properly I found better ways to draw/ paint, that was more efficent.

one of the best advice I gotten was this.

When you paint tradtionally, you usually go from background to foreground, and from Dark to Light

so when I digitally paint / or create. I basically block in everything. colors / lines / light / shadow, etc. Then I just merge them together, and clean up
