personal website, but I stopped taking those a while back. But I still have a backup page on fiverr atm

you can get commissions through anything. Uplink, Linkedin (more of a social platform honeslty) or even post your services on twitter

its all about outsourcing rather than being on a specific site . I seen artist go on instagram and post there works, and get comissions through there, others use deviant art.

I personally got my start doing video game sprites for Rpgmaker back during the 2009's til 2012s. Any platform can work. Long as you do good work, and MAKE your self available

there are so many young artist out there that go " I cant make it" or "I cant get work", and I was one of them. So my best advice from personal experience is just put yourself out there. Treat it like a buisness, rather than just art, you wouldnt believe how many are in need of work

@hoary estuary you will always have people who are willing to buy your stuff, you just need to take the initiative and put it out there. Doesnt matter what platform you use, just make sure your professional and people know your willing to take comissions.

Just dont be like those obnoxoius people that post there services on every platform spamming "I do comissions". but if you past your art somewhere, dont forget to give a link so they will know your open. And eventually after you post enough of your art, if its good quality, people will notice.

I fell asleep but I advertise my commissions on social media whenever they open up. I usually use a slot system like 5 people can take a slot and then my commissions close. I tend to only advertise places I know I’ll get business though like fandom discord’s or on my own platforms because I know those people want what I can make, they demand I can supply.

@turbid dirge quick tip, proportions relates to the corelation an object has to another. (Example: "Sally's mothers both gave us proportioned meals") or ( "I think politics dis-proportionally affects low income voters") . so when thinking about proportions, its more important to understand how parts of the body relates in terms of size to another part of the body, rather than the exact size measurements.

Anatomy relates to how something functions and works rather than correlation. Example (" The anatomy of a peanut would probably be a shell on the outside , the lining of the shell walls, and the nut inside") Even if the peanut is lopsided and deformed, it can still be anatomically correct.

What I believe you are looking for is not anatomy, but proportions. Which do have things in common, but ultimately anatomy is not what people think of when they are learning to draw.

So a good piece of advice to learn when dealing with proportions is balancing relationships. What I mean by that is, focus on trying to keep things similar and consistent rather than accurate.
Example ( : When you draw a grid on a piece o paper, it is easier to see what the proportions should be, since you have a consistent line going across the page to help you visualize. That line, is basically what you use as a refrence point to help construct your figure or shape. ) (similar to the picture tif showed. )

the reason I want to seperate the differnce of proportions and anatomy is basically because when you do figure drawing of any sort. cartoons, anime, realistic or unrealistic drawings, what is most important is to devolp consistency.. bugs bunny is not a anatomically correct rabbit, however its proportions are consistent through out all of the shows animations, So the first time you see it, it looks wierd, but overtime, as you constantly are reminded of "oh this is how this character looks" you begin to accept it

Consistency is key. And there is an easy way to figure this out.

What I usually do, ( assuming you dont have a grid paper lining around ), is create a part of the body that you are comfy with. And basically sketch small thin lines that coorelate to that body part.

Example (: if I sketch a hand, I know how big the arm should be, and based off the arm, I know how big the shoulder should be. )

From there I keep skecthing until I finish the image. then afterwards, I look at picture and see what looks wrong with it. IF I know I started off with the hand, but the head looks small. I retrace my steps until I find the root problem that connects to that piece. If the head looks wrong, that means the neck is wrong, and if the neck is wrong, most likelly the shoulder is wrong. I keep that in mind as I reskecth, and eventually you will learn how things are proportoined
