Every one of us is dreaming
Asleep in a prison both physical and mental
Some of us, I now realize…
They wake up
Insane we call them
Suddenly they’re Glorious Gone
Unending the cycle of Vialism
Perhaps I can break it,
for I have awoken and I refuse to sleep
Farewell sleepers

Apologies for the sudden disappearance
I’ve gone past the walls and seen a world previously hidden
Trench as it is referred to by those outside
Wild and green she lays
A beautiful emerald beyond the graves
Beyond the looming gray giants
Out of sight of their dandelion eyes
In fields I’ve frolicked and flown
Far from all I’ve ever known
For past the damned there lay a land
Of green hills and mountains taller than man
The sun glimmers off the waves brighter than graves glow
For false neons will always glimmer low
Apologies once again
I must go
To those awakening,
-Rimdri

11 11MOON 20
A many days have passed
Since I’d seen him last
A flash of pink faded and vanishing
Yet visible nonetheless
Hope’s quite the same
A soft and delicate thing
He’s unaware of beyond the walls
Curiosity plagues his mind as it once did mine
A vulture’s call marks his goodbye
His cell is far more different than my cage
For his chains are made of glorious gold
And mine are disguised as a humble abode
Either way we have the same goal
Escape the city
In search of home
Few escape the walls
Proud are those which do
Emotional are all upon return
Another cycle
However as he and many must learn
Cycles can be broken
Hope has entered
Tonight we leave
He’ll never forget
He’ll see the green grasses
And yellow flowers
Perhaps even meet the others
And wear their yellow colors
The Few,
The Proud,
The Emotional,
-Rimdri

01 05MOON 20
A caged bird once again
Indeed I am
Cement walls imprison me
Inside this broken city
As my gaze grows weary
And my eyes become teary
I bear a glance at my hands
In my misery the smears have spread
Black poison climbs just past my wrists
Buried in darkness are my fists
And through the mirror of frozen water
A crimson gaze like mine will falter
Are those mine
I question as I gaze at my reflection
Those eyes have cried
And their hope has died
They’ve seen brutal years
And faced many fears
Just like I they are imprisoned
Locked away inside this cage
The thought of another day
Seeming so close
Yet so far away
My consciousness will sway
Knowing I am forced to stay
As these eyes are mine
And the crimson won’t fade
Sleep tempts me as my eyes grow tired,
-Rimdri
