I think although this specific stop motion may not be originally created for the song ( i heard that somewhere I could be wrong) I believe it correlates so well in showing Tyler’s struggle with mental health and how his faith kinda guided him through that (rabbits happiness is removed by This beast ‘depression/MH’ and the rabbit tries to outrun it and feels like it won’t be able until something ‘faith’ drags it back up onto its path)

I like this theory a lot. But I still don't know if the ending is so positive for the rabbit. I mean, he isn't with his family anymore, isn't in his hidden world where he can learn how to be a magician. He is more being used by the magician. Ofc, the beast represents mental illness while the hand, coming out of the moon, stands for god. But did god really save him in a way, that everything is like before? No. God saved him from death, but God also uses him.
He uses him to show him something very important: That the rabbit should chase his own dreams, not trying to fit in or continue the path of being a magician like the previous generations. Otherwise, he would pressure himself too much, maybe starts drinking alcohol, and finally being trapped in a vicious cycle of anxiety and loneliness. God shows him his purpose.

That’s fair honestly, I suppose the fact the rabbit is used by the magician is not something that could be seen as him being back where he started. However I believe it could be interpreted to show that if stuff didn’t work out before that there is others ways, he is ‘saved’ although not returned to how things had been as they would never be the same because of what he went through. It’s definitely open to interpretation and I do like your view on it

The older bunnies drinking and smoking and reminiscing on how theyve played the magic game for generations. Little bunny is like wtf is this nasty drink, do I have to do all that too? Elders murdered by their habits/addictions/dull performance of life. Little bunny runs from it all, terrified to repeat old patterns and gets pulled into a whole new realm
