I would love to have some sort of regional chats (like, probably in broad categories, such as “Pacific Northwest”, or “Eastern Europe” or things like that) so that it would be easier to try to make IRL friends to meet up with more often than just during tours. It would also make setting up unofficial little meetups easier, like an “off-season” listening party just for funsies. (Ive struggled for a long time to make friends local to me and I’m sure others have as well, so channels like this would mean a lot to me !). Could potentially be a role people can choose too, but I think a specific separate channel for this kind of thing would be incredibly useful and fun!
#Regional/location based channels for planning meet-ups or making local tøp frens!!

Love this suggestion!
I forgot to say it would also be helpful while people are traveling (either for concerts or otherwise) to be able to coordinate a bit with people they talk to on here and maybe meet up while they are traveling
Hi, this is a very lovely idea but unfortunately not fitting for a server this size. With almost 90k members and many underage members, regional chats would be a safety risk. It's amazing to be able to meet friends from the same area, but ideally that kind of information should not be shared with people you just met. I hope you can understand our hesitation!
Thats why I thought maybe the approach of using very very broad regions would be alright, but if that still feels like too much risk I completely understand!
That's fair! I think it's unfortunately still a bit too risky to encourage people to share their location with others so easily
That makes sense, I def wouldn’t ask you guys to do it if it’s something you aren’t comfortable with, it’s really an enormous server!
Thanks for considering!
I see your point with sharing locations and minors, but would be nice to have roles for very global location. Like US/Canada/Europe ... these places are huge so to me it isn't really sharing your location per say, just giving a global idea of were you are.
But I get the potential risk and would definitely not want specific states or such.
