I saw this theory from a post about how someone realized something about Nico. Nico has been seen to have the power to seize any body, alive or dead (this can be seen in fairly local when he seizes Josh). When Clancy is stabbed with the antlers/when they were broken, could this have been Nico starting to seize Clancy? Tyler then sings about how he is losing himself and how he is being “split in two.” What if his spirit is still within himself, though it is being taken over majority by Nico. Furthermore, the black paint on his face seems to be shorter than that of Nico’s. This could be symbolism for how this cycle gets better with every time, but it could also mean that more of him is being left within his body each time, and that it is getting better for his soul. I’m not saying that there is gonna be some ending where he ends up overtaking Nico’s soul, but it is likely that everything previously stated is happening. Notice how Nico does everything in a swift and quick manner. This is exactly what “dark Clancy” does after getting seized. Let me know your thoughts on this.
