In Shy Away Tyler (Clancy?) sings "break the cycle in half" but in the City Walls music video, we see the cycle continuing.
I know that Shy Away is supposed to be about Jay, but it seems unlikely that Tyler would include a song that mentions a cycle and have it be completely unrelated to the story.
Then again, SAI was propaganda, so maybe the bishops gave Clancy false hope that he was going to break the cycle?

i have also been thinking about all the SAI-eque imagery that has happened these past two eras (clancy and breach). i've come to is this thought as well. it has also occurred to be that the imagery could be related to how the bishops were invading clancy's mind as it (imagery) started after the whole nico-smearing-clancy thing.
i'm not sure how/if this all comes together, but we shall see...
I've been watching all the images from the Digital Remains for Breach, and the first thing that comes to my mind was: 'If this is another propaganda album?, what if Clancy was captured once again but now in he's own mind, like the The contract video.
The Digital Remains have a lot of references, like the pitchfork, the trash Flame and some references from dmaorg on it. And what makes me theorize more about it is because of this page especially.
I want Shy Away to reference breaking the cycle, and I think it's possible but not guaranteed.
It could definitely be propaganda/false hope/or even just Clancy trying to convince himself to keep pushing on through.
I also read a theory that it could be about Keons - by betraying Nico he likely broke some kind of cycle, he leaves his skin on the floor 💀 and manifests a ceiling with the antlers? (This last one is really a
imo, but it was part of that theory). The overall positive and affectionate language could also refer to how Keons was sort of warmer and kinder than the other bishops. I definitely don't think it's like the clear cut interpretation, but some neat food for thought if nothing else
