#Possible ending theory: Intentions and City Walls (Major Spoiler possibility?)

I've been thinking (maybe too much) about a theory of mine i've been forming for a long time now and I want to share that with you so we could think together if you find that what I'm saying makes any sense.

For starters, my theory is based on 2 major details we know for sure:

  • the story is a cicle, somehow it will loop in on itself

  • blurryface (and therefore the whole bishops group) is representative of Tyler's (and anyone's) insecurities

To think of the Bishops (especially Nico/Blurryface) as a completely separate entity from Clancy/Tyler seems unnatural for me.
As someone who struggles with mental health i see those thoughts as a part of me. For sure, many of those are influenced or maybe even originated from external sources, but nonetheless they are part of me, they are MY demons (Dema).
Maybe they are similar or even identical to someone else's demons (that's why Dema's citizens exists), and maybe i don't have to "fight" those demons alone (that's what Banditos represent to me, the fighters you meet along the way and also the ones that were beside you since before the very first time), but when it comes in FACING your demons, you have to prepare for the fight on your own and wear your Jumpsuit with the colors you see fit (Yellow, useful in hiding from the bishops; Blue, sign of defeat; Red, sign of rebellion, appropriating the Bishops' color; Grey, sign of lifelessness, the colour of Dema and its citizens, and so on).

I think for now i've only stated known things adding the necessary layer of how I personally see Bishops and Nico as it's important for the following theory.

Since we know the story is a loop and that it starts/ends with the Heavydirtysoul mv where Clancy manages somehow to trick Nico into getting him outside of the walls of Dema, my question is:
how will we loop back to that?
How is Clancy going to be able to trick a Bishop (Nico nonetheless) into taking him outside of the walls?

My theory, and a long speculated one (and also reinforced by the recent drop of the Nova Bishop boxset edition of Breach) is that Clancy is going to become a Bishop, the Tenth, Nova Bishop (that's why it's Nico AND The Niners)
But WHY?

I really don't think the ending is going to be a pessimistic one considering the ever-hopeful message that the band is carrying ever since they started. Sure it could (and I think definitely will be) bittersweet but I don't think it's gonna just be like: Clancy is a new bishops and now rules Dema with the other Bishops exactly as they did before him.
So,
I think Clancy WILL become a Bishop AND Nico will eventually agree in helping him escape Dema (looping back to hds mv) after the arson he will cause.

I think this will be the case because of the colors significance:
if in a wild and vast continent as Trench nobody has a cause in which to gather and fight, what will happen to people? Which color will they put on? What will happen to the so important concept of community?
I say this because apart from Dema, the only example of community that we have seen in the whole continent is the one of the banditos.
So, what would happen if for example one of them will eventually struggle with mental issues? Will there be someone to help them? As we know, Clancy CAN'T BE ALONE, and since he represents an individual (Tyler, but really anyone) struggling with mental health, we can assume this is true with the banditos also.
Remember the feeling of enthusiasm Clancy felt in the letter referencing to the Jumpsuit mv when he first saw the Banditos who've also helped him in trying to escape Nico?
I think this is what Dema's citizens are going to experience once the city is burned down and they are freed outside of the wall (since the recent letter says ESCAPE ROUTES OPEN, EVACUATE NOW.)

We also know that the Banditos also felt conflicted in whether the Bishops were a good figure in their lives or not (the letters we received at the FPE event during the Clancy tour). So,
why is that?
Why are banditos even questioning their cause after joining it?

We also aren't sure of the City's age, because of Clancy's questioning it in the I am Clancy video, and elements such as Trash and Ned seem to indicate that Trench is a much older place then Dema, as older as a time where dragons and other magical creature existed, almost a primordial place.
When was the city built?

I think that when the city was built, it was built with a good purpose, almost a sacred one, in helping others navigate their lives while struggling with it: think of it as the ultimate banditos experience, but with actual houses and city instead of tents, a shelter for those in need, I think THAT is the original religion the Bishops later hijacked (as Clancy states in the I am Clancy video).
But someone had to rule, and that's why the Bishops system eventually originated with Clancy being the Nova Bishop, the 10th (or 1st depending on how you count when the loop starts).
That's good right? That's amazing!
But how WILL we get there exactly?
How DID we get there before?
remember, the story is a cycle 😉

We now find ourselves in the events of the Paladin Strait mv
Remember, this is a mv we had to almost free ourselves by resolving the puzzles contained in the Digital Remains, almost as if we were directly helping them in advancing the fight, like we are banditos (Remember, we ALSO are Twenty One Pilots, we are a community, we are fighting the same fight).

Clancy is directly facing Nico (his insecurities), and I think this will be resolved with him coming to terms with him, accepting his role (his insecurity) in his life.
Remember, Blurryface/Nico started as an alter ego of Tyler/Clancy so it only makes sense the ending will be a callback to this.

Like in every loop, the ending is the beginning.
The banditos are fighting the glorious gone (the very concept of defeat by the ideals perpetrated by the Bishops) and Clancy now sees its past failed attempt to coming to terms with his insecurities (as people are speculating that's what the blurry figures are in The Contract mv).
What is the contract?
Who's it signed with?

I think (like many times before) that the contract will revealed to be 2:

-the one Clancy now signs with Nico which represents the Truce (yes, I think the lyrics of the song will be FUNDAMENTAL in understanding the original religion message: pushing through), where Nico is forced by Clancy in accepting in reforming the city, the Good Dema

-the one Clancy signs with Torchbearer at the star of the loop, in the hds mv

I think Clancy will be able to defeat Nico with the power he now acquired from Ned's antlers:
the power of creation, or better yet, of being able to inspire someone through something you have created (the power of creation he talks about in Kitchen Sink, the one that helps you when you feel like you've lost your purpose).
Remember, they find multiple Neds in Voldsoy following a path of the band's old symbols, the ones they first used to inspire people (unlike the nicknames the Bishops give themselves to uninspire as stated in Neon Gravestones) and there, one of them gives Clancy its antlers, the power of inspiring by literally filling a lifeless body with purpose (NOT DEAD, and that's where the hijacking of the religion takes place).
With this power now (which represents the awareness of the impact that their art has had on so many of us, and I think also on their own lives) he is able to control Nico (his insecurities) because he now feels he has a use for them, he fuels other people's purpose by constantly facing his own demons.

He understands that people need to be fueled, that they will eventually fight their demons and that is better to learn how to fight them then to just ignoring them and letting them rule our life.

That's why I think Nico will agree to take Clancy outside of Dema (the place where you are used to live passively with your own insecurities): the contract Clancy will sign with Nico is that he will let Nico smear him at times (and we will loop to the blurryface era), but only to fuel Clancy's desire to inspire others.
That's why he will literally drive the car Clancy is on in the hds mv, because Clancy has granted Nico some authority, some ownership onto his life (referencing the fact that Tyler decided to use music in a cathartic way that forced him to deal with certain part of himself).
And that's when I think the Good Dema period will take place, where Clancy will rule with grace over his citizens.

But something along the way goes wrong and Dema is once again corrupted.
The struggle with mental health is not a linear route. It takes many shapes, it can be a costant one, you have to learn how to live with your demons with the tools you have.
Sometimes you'll win and sometimes your insecurities will. It's not a fight. It's a war. A long one, always fought for the same reasons.

Fortunately along the way he met the beloved Joshua Dun/Torchbearer (literally in the middle of the road that Nico was driving on, which means while Tyler wrote music that dealt with mental issues) whose drums literally dismantle the car (the space where Tyler alone dealt and fought with his insecurities) and together they signed a contract in which the Torchbearer swore to always guide Clancy toward the light, and helping carrying out his mission which he also want to accomplish and together they decide to form a community that will help eachother in overthrowing the Bishops system once again (the Banditos) and the story will loop in on itslef.
