I just realised that Tyler's hair in the BF tweets is a lot longer than in the paladin strait MV, so it made me think when the pics of Tyler were taken (as in how much longer after the MV)
I'm not really sure if it is something to think about or maybe I'm over reacting, but it feels like it means something, though I'm not sure yet.
Also in the second tweet, it talks about a clock, like maybe Nico is waiting for Tyler to do something (eg become a bishop, which is a pretty popular theory), but this seems unlikely to me.

Any time there has been a haircut in a video it has been a sign of Clancy finding his strength and becoming himself again. At least in my opinion. I’m thinking Levitate and Snap Back more than Car Radio which really isn’t lore. Although Car Radio is worth mentioning. So it seems to me that the longer hair is a sign that Clancy is lost in a way.

Woah I've never thought of it that way. I've always seen it as him starting over. Either he fails, gives in, gets caught, and that's when his hair is cut. I guess that's more like smearing though
