I was rewatching the mv for The Outside and there may be significant implications to Keons being killed in a way that is very similar to the death of Emperor Julius Caesar.
Some quick historical context: Caesar was assassinated by other Roman Senators because they were afraid Caesar’s power undermined the Roman Republic. Post-assassination, Caesar’s death actually had the opposite effect that the Senators wanted, and led to a civil war as well as a new age of the Roman Empire.
This is absolutely a stretch theory, but I think Keons’ death could have similar ramifications. If we assume that the other Bishops killed Keons out of fear (Keons destroying the submarine, conspiring to betray the other Bishops, etc., the reason why is a separate theory imo), then it’s possible that the Banditos’ uprising will trigger a civil war within Dema.
Following this series of events, a new age of Dema would occur, with leadership possibly in the form of Clancy and/or Josh.
TLDR: Keons’ death could play a huge part in contributing to the uprising of Dema citizens/Banditos and ultimately starting a new era/age of the city.
